On December 7 2023, PT Luhai Industrial through the GA team held fire extinguishing training using APAR (Light Fire Extinguisher) by inviting the Serang Fire Extinguisher Team led by the Serang Fire Brigade Commander, Mr. Erwin Fidian, and his colleague Mr. Saefullah. This training was held at 16.00 to provide understanding in the use of APAR and APAB (Heavy Fire Extinguisher).

In this training, there are various types of fire extinguishers, including APAR and APAB, which are very important tools in handling fires. The types of APAR explained include 1kg power APAR which is usually carried in cars and forklifts, 6kg powder APAR which is available in production areas, as well as 25 kg APAB Powder and 25 kg CO2 APAB Gas.
The Serang Fire Extinguisher Team provides a detailed explanation of how to use each type of fire extinguisher. We don’t just listen to theory, but directly carry out fire extinguishing simulation practices. The duration of the training lasted 1 hour, but in that short time, participants gained invaluable understanding in handling fires using APAR and APAB.
Direct practice in fire extinguishing simulations provides real experience for us. We learn how to deal with fire situations calmly and appropriately, and use fire extinguishers correctly according to their type. This is very important because emergency situations require fast and appropriate reactions to minimize losses due to fire.
This training is not just about understanding theory, but provides practical experience that is very meaningful for us. The skills gained in operating APAR and APAB are expected to increase readiness and safety in the work environment. Having the right fire extinguisher and knowledge of its use is a very important investment for public safety.
With this training, participants feel better prepared to face emergency situations, especially in handling fires. PT Luhai Industrial is grateful for this opportunity and hopes to continue to improve employee readiness in maintaining a safe work environment. Safety is a top priority, and understanding the use of APAR and APAB has helped us to be better prepared and responsive in dealing with emergency situations.
